Remote controlled lighting motorways
The 100,000 light points that litter the structuring network of Wallonia are all equipped with remote management allowing communication with connected equipment, controlling them remotely and retrieving measurements and information. It is this remote management which notably allows the implementation of some of the innovations of the Lights Plan 4.0 such as dimming or flashing of luminaires in the event of detection of a phantom driver. The lighting remote controls are connected to the different platforms in which they transmit a whole series of data which are then analyzed and which can lead to actions by automated process or with human control.
